Frozen Embers "Ema the Emo" is one of our first keepers, we held back keeping one of our own for years. Since we are aimed to produced charcoal snows, she is essential to our program. Although Ema carries the PKDEF gene she can still produce healthy kittens for breeding or pets, with the proper genetics testing and breeding. This is one example of why reputable breeding programs are essential to developing the breed and introducing Gene Diversity, is done through careful selection. Ema has the most amazing affectionate personality. She gives purpose to the definition "Lap Leopard" as she loves to snuggle for hours at a time, if she isn't playing or tending to her children, whom she also encourages to be cuddle bears! We can't imagine life without her, and she may retire here as a beloved house pet in her future!
